Don’t buy jeans online, try on many pairs instead

By Jeffrey the Barak. Online shopping is amazing. It is so convenient and usually a great bargain too as sellers don’t have the enormous cost of providing a glass and granite palace to show you their goods. But some things do not fit in with the online shopping model. The most striking example is denim… Read More Don’t buy jeans online, try on many pairs instead

This is so true….It is not worth the hassle of buying Levi’s online. After racking my brain all day to find the right pair of Levi’s jeans online, I have given up. Better to shop and try them on.

Levis have caved in to the gangster sagging trend. Their skinny, slim and regular jeans look like they are falling down and in all styles, the back pockets sit from the lower buttocks down to the upper thigh, making the legs look shorter. It is very unflattering.

Vintage Levis made your legs look long and sexy and your butt look high and tight. Modern Levis make you look much worse than your figure actually is.

Currently, Wranglers will increase your sexy quota greatly simply due to the pocket placement, and Levis will not. The Levi Company should give up the saggy crotch, make jeans that don’t fall down all day, that you don’t have to pull up all day, and they should move the pockets up by an inch or two, and get those famous classic back pockets off the backs of our legs and over the buttocks where they can look good again.

For men and women, long legs and high tight butts are the sexy figure we aspire to, not short legs and big baggy buttocks. So why are Levis being tailored this silly way? One reason: popular culture admires and glorifies the bullying criminal types that make rap music. This is both sad and silly.
